Seated Liberty Dollars
The Seated Liberty dollar (1840–1873) bridges the gap between the early Bust dollar and the Morgan. Relatively low mintages at all facilities make this a series where even common dates are genuinely scarce in Mint State. A pre-Civil War Philadelphia issue or a New Orleans or San Francisco mint coin is a serious collector's piece.
